MineMax¶
AI Optimization Software for Mining Operations.
MineMax makes feed predictable and improves plant performance. Geologists, mine engineers, and metallurgists benefit from a single pit-to-plant decision layer that combines ore tracking, stockpile intelligence, feed forecasting, and optimization, so everyone can act on the same high-resolution truth instead of averages.
What MineMax does¶
MineMax turns ore variability into predictable feed and better plant economics by unifying ore tracking, stockpile intelligence, reclaim and blending planning, and process optimization across the full operational handoff: geology to mine execution, to ROM and stockpiles, to reclaim and blending, to mill and concentrator.
It operates in the supervisory layer, sitting on top of existing mine and plant systems. The system continuously learns from operational actions and outcomes, staying up to date as conditions change.
Where MineMax fits¶
MineMax sits as a decision layer between your mine planning systems (Deswik, MineSched, XPAC, and others) and your execution systems (FMS, MES, DCS), bridging the gap with real-time ore intelligence, constraint-aware recommendations, and continuous learning loops that keep plans aligned to reality.
Value delivered¶
Quantified business impact across mine planning and plant operations.
| KPI | Typical outcome |
|---|---|
| Stockpile block-level coefficient of variation reduction | 30 to 50 percent on average |
| Ore misplacement reduction | Up to 98 percent (site-dependent) |
| Recovery improvement | 0.5 to 5 percent (site-dependent) |
| Reagent savings | Up to 30 percent demonstrated in pilots |
| Short-term feed predictability | 1 to 7 day forecasts with confidence bounds |
| Annual value uplift target | ~$1M to $20M per year depending on operation size |
How MineMax works¶

Cross-platform capabilities¶
These work together as one product, not as isolated modules.
| Capability | What it provides |
|---|---|
| Ore flow tracking | Exposes how ore moves from the mine to the plant through stockpiles and transfer points |
| High-resolution inventories | Turns stockpiles into defendable, resource-grade models instead of daily averages |
| Confidence quantification | Makes uncertainty visible and auditable for both inventories and plans |
| Reclaim what-if scenarios | Unified feed planning that respects mine, ROM pad, and plant constraints |
| Geometallurgical estimates | Combines geological and metallurgical data into tracked geometallurgical estimates across the flowsheet |
| Plant operational guidance | Breaks silos between geology, planning, and metallurgy to guide better plant decisions |
| Alerts and recommendations | Flags emerging risks and recommends corrective actions before performance is impacted |
| Dashboards and decision views | Role-based, intuitive views for planners, metallurgists, and operators |
